The velta tecto 2 system has been designed to provide an excellent solution in modern construction where low profile floors and fast flowing screeds are used.

The velta tecto 2 fixing panels are the secret to the system providing a fully sealed floor area to contain the flowing screed together with other benefits:

	Quick one man installation with the 1450mm x 850mm insulated velta tecto 2 panels
	Insulated profile of the panels reduces the volume of screed on the floor to provide a system with low thermal mass, producing better and faster heat transfer
	velta tecto 2 panels join together by overlapping the nodules to provide a completely sealed system
	velta tecto 2 ND11 panel can accommodate floor loads of up to 6T/m2 and can be used with other insulation boards on ground floor applications
	velta tecto 2 ND30 panel is specifically designed to provide insulation and noise reduction (28db) for intermediate floor applications
	velta tecto 2 can utilise both 14 and 17mm velta PE-Xa pipe to suit the specific project
	Correct and accurate pipe spacing on panels in increments of 50mm

The correct preparation of the sub floor is important and velta planning instructions should be followed. Flowing screeds should be designed and installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and BS 8024 Part 7.

All other screeds used should comply with the relevant sections of BS 8024.

Floor construction zones for floor insulation, velta tecto 2 and screed are typically 110mm for ground floor applications and 90mm on intermediate floors.

These can be reduced but our technical department must be consulted.
