Designed for use with sand cement screeds and concrete slab applications, the velta classic system has been developed to provide the perfect solution, utilising both 17 and 20mm velta PE-Xa pipe sizes for most types of buildings, including;

The system is designed to provide a fast and effective installation, which can be installed by a single operative in both old and new buildings.

	Strong fixing clips secure the pipes in the perfect position to ensure full encapsulation within the screed or concrete
	velta classic systems can utilise both 17mm or 20mm velta PE-Xa pipe to suit the specific project.

Sub-floors, which are to accept the system, must be suitably prepared. Cambered units or uneven floors should be surveyed and levelling screeds used where necessary.

Specific loading requirements and applications should be discussed in detail for each project to ensure that the correct screed or concrete is specified for the application.

Sand and cement screeds, (typically 65mm domestic or 75mm commercial) should be designed and installed in accordance with BS8024.

For most applications, a maximum construction zone of 150mm should be allowed for the insulation, which should comply with current Building Regulations and screed incorporating the floor heating system.
